Head of Local Sales

Our client is a FMCG company based in Selangor.


Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing effective sales strategy to specific channels.
  • Lead a team of distributor sales personnel in trade activation and execution.
  • Lead and implement implementation of strategic brand initiatives in respective trade channels.
  • Ensure perfect execution for all trade related activation to maximize sales opportunity.
  • Deep dive into sales data to analyze effectiveness of activation and for better decision making process.
  • Building rapport with trade customers in the assigned territory and channels.
  • To be accountable for sales and A&P budget allocated.
  • Continuously develop strategies for new trade customers or channels.
  • Work hand in hand with Marketing in day to day sales operations matters.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years sales experience within the FMCG industry.
  • Experience in managing national distributor.
  • Well versed with domestic shopper insights and retailer behavior.
  • Skilled in MS Office.
  • Highly analytical with usage of data as a key requirement.
